F.S 2001 PY R #41, Stock NC

Post by nannerb46 »

As title says, looking at selling my 2001 Pheonix Yellow Type R, #41. Originally from west coast(Washington State). She has 130,712 miles on her. The only mods consist of a Comptech rear section, and 6000K HID's, for better night vision. If buyer prefers factory muffler, I can do that too. I am a Honda employee, and have been able to track back most of the service records on the vehicle. I can give the next owner a list of what I have been able to come up with with.
I have recently been promoted, and now have a car provided to me. I currently have a loan on the vehicle, and am looking to clear it. I have a young family, and can not justify paying for a car I can rarely use. Any questions, pm me with contact info, and I will get what ever I can provide. I know later on down the line, when I have more time and capital, I will wind up buying another one. Now is just not the right time for me and my family.

Here is a link to my previous posted pictures. I am having trouble uploading at this point. I want to clarify, as when I bought the car, I was told the exhaust was a full Comptech catback, but I have since learned it is only the rear section. Just wanted to make sure I was crystal clear on this.

it's a shame you're selling. I wish I had room for her. Best of luck with the sale.

Offers?? Anyone?? Price is negotiable. My main concern is that my time frame to sell my R is not a long one, and I am truly desperate to not have to put it on Ebay. I would hate for someone to Hack her and tear her apart. She's SO clean, and runs so great.. I was really hoping to be able to keep it in the R community, as I know she will be respected.

PM me.

No interest here, will look other routes for sale. I figured the community was the best route to make sure a stock, non theft, non salvage title R, was sold and well respected. Looks like it will be sold to a local college kid. I was really trying to avoid this.

2 weeks isn't long enough brother.

It helps to put up a price too. There are actually a few R bargains right now that you'll have to compete with

I know it's a short time frame to sell, and it's too bad. I had the price originally at 11,500 when I listed it then lowered to 11k... I just edited the price out of the title this morning. I saw a ton of veiws, but no interest... no comments even. I at least expected some positive feedback if nothing else. I was really puzzled and I tried to figure out how to delete the entire post, but couldn't figure it out. I have seen many cars with tons of bolt ons, salvage, higher miles, parts cars, bare shells, JDM front ends and other major modifications, thefts, etc going for a good amount of money. I figured the car would be snatched up in a short amount of time and I was wrong.
I looked at the all the R's listed for sale in the last year, before deciding on an asking price. Looked at response time, and what type of feedback people were getting. It seemed like the most favorable environment to sell the car. I had high hopes for it to go to someone here who knew exactly what it was, and what they were getting.

I'm bummed that I have to put the car on Ebay, and that I don't have more time to just wait it out and carry the car. Anyone who's interested can see it there. I'm just going to cross my fingers and pray that whoever buys her doesn't hack her apart.

Two weeks is still two weeks. It takes months to find the right buyer.

I'm telling you brother at 11k your competition is stiff right now. If you hold out for a bit eventually you'll get it, just not immediately.

If you put it on ebay and sell to some tard that is on you.

Sorry, I am selling the car because I don't have room for a 3rd car right now. So, sadly, I would not have room for your trade.
