I currently have the exhaust on my 98 jdm itr with the test pipe. I haven't had much experience with exhausts ... only other one was a spugen for my s2k about 2yrs ago. I haven't heard any other ITR exhausts in person but this is my take. Price is a little on the high side but the customer service /...

Well I dont think it's my cat heat shield since I no longer have a cat :) replaced it with a t1r 70r exhaust + test pipe. I actually took the car in and had the mechanic tighten all the bolts for the heatshield for the header but it's still making the noise. Jackson...I didn't know there was a o2 se...

Rattiling problem ... heat shield?
Wondering if anyone could help me out with this problem... Lately my 98 itr has this really loud rattle/grinding noise when the rpm hovers right around 1700-1800 (everywhere else is fine). Just to clarify on the sound ... to me it seems like something is loose and it's rattling/vibrating to make tha...

Wow guys... Thanks for all the info. Yea I am in the military so shipping it back to the states through the Army isn't a problem. It would be the whole process of getting it through customs and then getting it legalized. I won't be staying much longer in the military so ultimately I'd like to drive ...

Bringing JDM ITR to US
I don't post here much but I had a quick question. I've got a 98 JDM ITR that I'm driving in Korea. My intentions were to drive it and sell it before I went back home to cali. But I've fallen in love with the car and would like to take it back if at all possible. I'd really like to get it legalized ...

No Acura but they do have honda dealerships...but I don't think they carry any integra parts (basically its a honda dealership from the states) Plus the price here for car parts is much more expensive so I'm looking to order online and take the parts to a shop or do it myself in order to save a litt...

jdm / usdm parts for itr the same?
I'm trying to get a 60k service done on the type r and was wondering if the parts for the usdm and jdm itr's were the same. There's no shop that I know of here in Korea that carries parts for the jdm itr. Are there any sites online that I could order these parts from? Any and all help is greatly app...

Sorry to double post but I took a look at the 60k mile service and there's quite a few things to be done so I thought I'd do it little by little before the car hit 60k. I was wondering if usdm and jdm parts used in the type r are the same or different. Specifically the oil filter, fuel filter, air f...

Just picked up the car yesterday and drove for 8 hrs from pusan to seoul. All I have to say is this car is so much fun to drive...and its weird driving on the right side but I'm getting used to it. Maybe it's cause I'm coming from a 97 daewoo matiz (3 cyl, maybe 80 hp??) but this car feels like a be...

New to board...picking up my R in 2 days
Hey guys, Just wanted to say hi. I bought a used stock 98 type r from japan and will be picking it up in 2 days (I'm in korea btw). Currently a s2000 owner but will be selling since I haven't been driving it much. I have always been a big fan of the type r so here's my chance to finally own one. Alt...
