In town on the everyday drive, I usually granny shift it from 3-4000 rpms usually. (switched from the Apexi WS to the Apexi N1 now, so any higher RPM's and it'd wake up the dead.)

i have the apexi n1 i love it but my neighbor doesn't :D

instead of the vafc, get your basic bolt on first. intake and exhaust since u have headers already. then dyno it before and after to see what numbers u pull.

there is no need to shift at 6000 rpm for daily driver, that burns so much gas. do u have synethic oil in your engine?

find a friend and pay them to park your car in their garage, or pay for a garage. its still safer than the streets.

the jackson racing superchargers wont make as much power as the centrifugal chargers, but they are still very good chargers. the only thing JRSC needs is the intercooler for the R

Re: what to do....

ok, I know I dont have a real type r, it's just a gsr. I dont have the right to pretend it is an R either. So anyways I was about to trade her in for a 00' Gt stang. Then I got an idea....either spend the money putting in a r motor swap? Or maybe rebuild the gsr and go supercharged? Any thoughts gu...

just go out and try it. each car is different. run the car in 2 or 3 until the needle bounces and remember what that rpm is or if your tach has a recall function use that, and set it 200 rpm lower.

check your ignition or fuel system.
make sure your oil is top up too since vtec relies on your oil pressure.
