I'll be coming in on Hwy 80 from California, not sure which day I'll get there, but I'll be driving through...we'll have to swap a few cell numbers so that we can meet up on the way if we can.

No word at all from Summit so i called our freinds at BeaveRun as a preventative measure. I don't feel optimistic about Summit but I do agree I hate for it to move again and was looking forwards to the new track! I suspect we will do a partial refund if we move to the Beaver. Thanks Trey...hopefull...

So Trey...what was the final outcome of the conversation concerning Summit Point? I would still love to go if the venue and date change, however it's going to take me quite a bit of time going up the corporate ladder for approvals.

Ouch!
Yeah...the amount of friction material left was equal to ~3 pieces of paper tightly packed, he was VERY lucky that it was pulled before it killed anything.

The Mugen clutch was designed for racing use only, a friend recently pulled the clutch out at ~12,000 miles and it was done, although it did have ~4 track days on it. If you want a racing clutch be prepared to pull the transmission and replace the clutch at regualar intervals.

It happens to be a clone of the manifold that HyTech has been making for the last 4+ years, here is a link to a post that I made about the HyTech manifold back in December, I posted it because of the change of the intercooler design, going to an Air-->Liquid intercooler, http://honda-tech.com/zeroth...

Re: Track Wheels and setup?

George...are you sure on the +38mm Kosei K-1 rims? I know of several local autocrossers that are running 205-50/15 V700's and have had to roll the fenders to prevent rubbing issues. I'm also aware that Mario on Honda-Tech is selling his +38mm with 205-50/15 Falken Azenis due mainly to a rubbing issu...

Very nice What was your Base line about when you started modding? The "baseline" is with the Comptech Icebox and intake, Mugen head gasket, cam gears at 0,0 and Ti retainers installed. here is the plot vs. the current plot, as you can see I had issues with the RPM signal :p http://www.ima...

Re: What kind of 0-60 times are you guys getting?

Using a program that calculates your 0-60mph time and uses your 1/8 mile time and mph, prior to the replacement of my clutch, flywheel, JDM FD, not so sticky tires, and retuning...it computed out as a 5.2 second 0-60mph, if I head to the strip this weekend I might get some more current times and see...

I just wanted to head to the dyno and make a few changes to my part throttle maps, vtec MAP activation, and some other minor changes...so while I was there I decided to get a few full throttle runs in... Every JDM cat-back exhaust system (except 1 or 2 straight through and under-the-axle design) will have small bottlenecks in the b-pipe. Why? Maybe it's to produce a desirable flow characteristic which can't be achieved by having a straight pipe design. Possibly, bottleneck is good for throttle resp...

The Hytech is a bit louder, and a tad more raspy, but it flows much better then the Mugen twin loop though. The mugen exhaust sounds sweet, but in high performance very expensive exhausts, it's lacking a little in the performance department. Later, Aj The HyTech isn't all that raspy...mine is a lit...
