there is a filter!!!! its called the spool valve.. take off the vtec solonoid and its like a gasket/filter looks like a fine net. clean with brakeclean. the filter filters out any debris. if the filter clogs the spool valve will drop oil press to the rocker arms and vtec will not turn on or turn on ...

i gots a moroso oil pan.. its okay. king motorsports sells a mugen one looks like its stock and has a baffle and half the cost. my moroso pan is okay. its hangs just as low as my jdm ehx manifold. i think the only diffrence from the two is the moroso holds 5.5qts of oil and has two ports for oil ret...

is there such a thing as an optional sunroof for the typeR???? if so id like to have one.!!!! (oem optional sunroof that is)

im thinkin of going all out on my head. change up my whole valvetrain. port and polish,5 angle valve job. maybe thats about it. still not sure. just gettin some ideas. dont know if i want mad speed or just a lil faster than what i have. only problem is where i live we have sorry machine shops to wor...

syn oil is good.!!! if you ever put syn oil on a dip stick and put a lighter at one end the syn oil attracts to the heat.! regular oil tends to run from the heat. and my R loves to drink oil... syn oil cost money but so does speed.=( i use penzoil syn oil 10w-30 all 5.25 qts because of my moroso oil...

what's out there better than the stock itr cams and valve train? skunk2? spoon? jun? im lookin for an n/a all motor.(keep the R true.! ) i have high milage and wanna kinda rebuild it top end that is.77k thanks fo the input guys.!!!!!

im thinkin of makin' my itr a lil faster. What else can i do? i already have jdm 4-1 exh manifold, mugen cat back,hi flo cat,low temp thermostat,cam gears, fuel press regulator,moroso oil pan, upgraded ecu,and thats it.! HELP!!!!!
