Re: Apexi N1 catback
Yeah I've tried putting it on the higher hangers, but the tip touches my bumper and it would end up burning it. I think if I just switch out the cat with a longer test pipe, it might fit better...i plan to get a header and test pipe soon anyway

Apexi N1 catback
I recently installed an apexi n1 catback exhaust and it seems to be rubbing the lower control arm. It dosent seem to fit exactly how I had hoped...I got it off a friend and it already had a catalytic converter on it. I think it is a jdm length cat, but I'm not sure. Any advice would be of great help...

I've been a little bored, so I thought I'd post this pic up, I think it looks pretty sweet. I've been hating my life for two weeks because I dont have my car, so I dug up an ancient pic. The HID's look blue but they are 6k, and look white in person. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh76/integratyp...

Re: Should I buy a Type-R???
Well now....All years have the same stock horsepower (99% sure). The ITR spoiler actually helps, it's not just for looks, it has a purpose. Plus it is a trait of the Type R. An important thing to do, IMO, would be to make sure it's authentic before you buy one. Ask for the vin number and look it up....

Re: Which is the best setup?
A B20 block on your type R head produces great NA power indeed, because it is displacement up. If it were me I would keep the B18C5 block and get .25mm JDM ITR oversize pistons. My friend has a fully built LS/Vtec (he has a gsr head so it might differ) which makes 198 whp, which is not fast for how ...

Re: Hey guys, new to itr motor! Hows it goin
I suggest you worry about getting all the bolt-ons first(header, exhaust), and do research on internals(cams and such). Go one step at a time and see how it fits into your budget, I hear NA build is very expensive. If you have not read this yet it might help! GL bro http://itrca.com/FAQ/performance/...

Re: TYPE R Decal Dimensions?
The side decal is approx. 9 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches high(at it's highest point).
The rear decal is approx. 6 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches high.
You can order them at an acura oem dealer if you're looking for some. It costs about $90 for all three of them.

Re: good deal 4 itr?
If I hadn't bought mine already I would buy it, that's a beautiful car. One thing I dont like is that it's not stock, but it's still a ITR (from the looks anyway) so dont pass up the opportunity to get one! Just make sure its authentic. GL!

Re: just...so....itchy at the moment....
Man that's way worse than mine when I got it...I had to replace my stock motor mounts and get a new itr transmission casing (the original was cracked) because my motor moved like 5 inches when I pulled on it. My previous owner also did'nt maintain the car. Hopefully someone(or you) can rejuvenate he...

Has anyone ever thought of adding a ITR Photo section to the board index?, I don't know who is in charge of altering the site, but it's just a recommendation, I think everyone would enjoy showing off their ITRs

Anyone in the Florida Panhandle?
Ok guys, Im still kinda new on this site, and I was just wondering how many of us are in the Florida panhandle area, like Pensacola/Destin/Panama City. I live in Crestview FL (between Pensacola and Panama City) and have never seen another Type R in my life. I tend to feel lonely sometimes, so I'd ap...

Yeah You should go with the xenon HID conversion kit. You can get them on ebay for $70 shipped, and dont worry they're real and good quality. Get the 9006 bulb size ad choose the color you want 5000k- oem white(like in the jdm type r's) 6000k- diamond white, 8000k- icey blue, 10000k- deep blue, and ...

What type of oil should I run in the teg?
My last daily driver was an Rx7 rotary, and this is my first teg, so I want to make sure that I use the best type of oil possible for the B18C5.....any recommendations?
