The EG6 Civic with a B16 could be almost as fast as an R with some mods. I have a friend with an EG6 with a B16 and Type R tranny with JDM fd and some decent wheels, R compound tires and suspension for an R and he is pretty much as fast as me ( i have the jdm fd as well). we are quite evenly matched...

In Canada anyways:
97,98,99 A/C dealer installed option
00,01 A/C standard

I believe it was the same in the US with the exception being no '99's.

It's pretty much the same as US cars, but was available in CW every year of production, whereas the USDM cars only came in white in 97 and 98.

Im pretty sure 17's provide better ride quality..? No, actually they will be a bumpier/stiffer ride as the sidewall will be shorter and will cause a more jarring ride than a smaller wheel with more tire sidewall will. the handling may be improved, but that's mostly due to the increased width over a...

Ah , yes, power antenna override switch. I did that last summer because having that stupid ass antenna sticking up all the time was driving me nuts. If you visit TeamIntegra.net there's a how-to on it there. http://www.team-integra.net/sections/articles/showArticle.asp?ArticleID=74 . Or if you don't...

Damn, looks like the current owner didn't take good care of it at all. I wouldn't buy that unless it was dirt cheap, definately less than $10k US, and unless i was prepared to give that thing alot of love to restore it. Chances are, if the cars appearance is that bad, the proper maintenance wasn't l...

Really though, if you're just gonna be driving around ...

For $2000 US dollars i'd buy a Mugen intake, a good header with a 2.5" collector, and 2.5" high flow cat. If you want to get a good header get something like the Toda header, it usually goes for $980 US, or if you want the best bang for your buck, get a DC JDM 4-1 stainless steel header, ...

Are there any itr owners in the Maritimes?

Just like the question says; is there anyone on this board with an itr who lives in the maritimes. Or has anyone at least seen an itr anywhere in the maritimes. I'm pretty sure none were sold new there. I'm just curious because i was born in New Brunswick, and took a trip there a couple summers ago ...

For under $1000 I am not sure I would spend the money on suspension. THe Type-R system is hard to improve upon based on auto-x and track times. YOu really need a suspension system with independent height to stroke adjustment. To get this you need the TEIN RE or higher. The JIC FLTA2 or better, the ...

The header is $1400 US

When i emailed John he quoted me $1400 US, maybe his prices have gone up since you purchased yours ?

Re: increase torque...

No offense meant, but if you want a car with low end tourque you shouldn't have gotten a Type R, or a honda for that matter. But yeah, any bolt on will increase tourque in order to increase hp.

I was 28 when i bought mine, as a graduation present to myself. I had to do some convincing with my girlfriend until she actually saw it being detailed at the dealership, then she insisted that i buy it. It was bought used last summer by the way.
