Re: carbon on back of car

If it's a JDM exhaust manifold with OEM USDM catback, then it's probably a test pipe. It's always possible someone put an entire JDM exhaust system on it though.

Re: anybody has a 2000 itr badge?

I've heard of people having jewelers or tropy shops to engrave them. I'd love to know a good font/size/spacing to recommend to people.

That's crazy! Hopefully your insurance is good to you. Probably better (easier) to deal with them with a truck than an ITR. I hope she turns up. :(

Re: My salvage inspection experience

Sounds like quite the hassle. Did you buy your car through an insurance auction like iaai, copart, etc.? I would think those would come with any needed paperwork. Hope you get this all straightened out without any more speedbumps. Be extremely careful if you try to buy a used USDM ITR engine. Be 100...

Do you have any coolant treatment type of fluids mixed with your coolant/water mixture (like water wetter or purple ice)? Different thermostats are rated to open/close at different temps, usually lower if you get into the high performance oriented ones. Just a couple of thoughts. I'm not sure if the...

Re: The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.

They dint bring 'em in in 1996. Now a dealer back in the day said the original plan was to release the S2000 as a Acura in the U.S., but they changed their mind and gave it to Honda and threw Acura a bone by bringing in the Type R to the USDM in 1997. The bottom of the page didn't scan very well, b...

What does a pair of MINT EP3 (SI) seats go for? I've had a pair sitting in sparco bags in the garage since circa 2003 and I need space.
