Re: Prospective potential ITR owner
I just bought a 2000 ITR, and it suffers from what I consider pretty standard issues that you will probably experience, unless your car has super low miles for it's age. These issues are fairly standard for all the older Civics/Integras I've owned. 1.) Oil burns at a rate of at least a half litre of...

Re: JDM 96-spec rear brakes upgrade to USDM/98-spec size hel
I am doing the same for my project car. I am using 96 ITR rear trailing arms with the hub/bearings, brake rotors, calipers, and brackets all coming from an RSX. I also have 5G prelude parts on the that I bought that I found I couldn't use on my previous project car because the Prelude caliper bracke...

Re: Creak from dashboard
I'm running 5-way adjustables, set to 3 front and rear. They're pretty stiff.

Creak from dashboard
I have a loud creaking noise coming from behind my dashboard, and it is becoming very irritating. It happens mostly when coming out of driveways, and over some big bump and pot holes, but not all of them. For reference, I have a 2000 ITR with Mugen suspension. Does anybody have the same problem, or ...

Re: Thoughts on possible replacements for TypeR?
I split my driving between my ITR and an 03 3.2 CL Type-S 6 speed.
The CL is a very different car than the ITR, but a very fun one just the same. It handles really well with an upgraded suspension and a big rear sway bar.
It might be an interesting option if you can find one.

Re: Security Question
Thanks for the tips. I'm going to look into kill switch locations, and maybe a better alarm.
The other car needs body work finishing and reassembly, as it's a shell on jackstands at present. Hopefully it'll be movable in a few months.

Security Question
Hi, I have just picked up my first ITR. It's a 2000 PY. It's got a lot of kilometres on it, but it runs great, and I'm very glad to have picked it up. I'd like to keep it for many years, and unfortunately, my garage has another project car in it that is immobile at present. I'm not particularly conc...
