I want an exhaust that can improve hp, a subtle deep sound like those exhaust on euro cars, nothing too loud. I know that even the same exhaust bolted onto the R is going to be louder cause the sound deadening material is gone. So I guess Mugen is a very quiet exhaust which would suit my needs then?...

I just want to have more low end torque and overall higher hp

which is the best cam and what does it exactly improve?

I sat in a type R with an exhaust and intake and the noise inside the car is just like sitting in a jetfighter...I cannot even hear the music and what my friend was speaking. Is that just how loud the exhaust is? Is there any exhaust that is not so loud?

What about final gear ratio? I know that it improves torque but again is it hard to install?

I thought that the ECU has a more aggressive tuning is adjustable with VAFC while the stock ECU is not adjustable with VAFC. I guess I am wrong then? I guess the short tube is a tube that brings the fiilter to behind your headlight and a long tube brings the filter to behind the bumper?
Are there significant differences between the noise level?

What does VAFC do? Is it hard to install? Also, any mechanic install it?
If I get aftermarket ECU, where can I get it intsalled? Is it just plug and play?
Do I need to tune the VAFC and the ECU up?

I heard that there are two kinds, short tube and long tube (talking about aftermarket ones).
