advice please!!!!!!!!!!!on a 98' ITR
How much would a 98' jdm OBD1 ECU help my car? currently my stock ECU keeps going into check mode, when I had my compression test done the shop told me it was because the motor was such higher compression now. Is this right? Oh.. my car has JE SRP oversized pistons, eagle H-beam rods, and a mugen he...

Re: What fluids do you run in your R?
As far as motor oil, I always use synthetic 10w30. Remember that OEMs use thin 5w30 for one reason - corporate fuel economy standards. So what is the improvement of using the 10w30 over the 5w30? Sorry I just don't quite understand. And I was told before that a DuraBlend is acutully better for the ...

Re: Rebuilt Motor Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey now it was not the person who broke it in. When I broke it in I only got on it once after 500 miles and an oil change- then it had oil leaking problems from the oil pan, valve cover, and the PVC valve- all which were new gaskets.
From then on it has just been downhill

Re: Rebuilt Motor Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is your ECU throwing any codes? I know sometimes when there are problems with your sensors the ECU will run in Safe mode so as not to allow you to cause damage to the engine. this will inhibit the performance of the car as well. Try resetting the ECU (disconnect it from the battery for a few minute...
