Yeah man, Jamie was one of my first instructors. Haven't seen him in years. I kinda doubt many people here even know who he is, but have to throw that in :pB18CXr wrote:Doctor Cortez

Re: Parting out HPDE car
Ryan, I'm not sure what the difference is between VTEC and non-VTEC distributors. I had it on my B20, not sure if it would work on a VTEC motor or not. It is OBDI for sure.
Thanks also for the vouch, Jay

Parting out HPDE car
Hey all, I've been parting out the Civic for awhile, have a bunch of ITR-related (B-series) parts thought some of you might be interested in. I'm not 100% on what parts can be posted here, so mods if you want something removed feel free to do so or let me know and I'll pull it. All parts located on ...

You're also fairly close to Road America, which is another great track. Corner working + autoxing are my suggestions as well. To find out more about corner working opportunities, you'll want to contact the registrar for your NASA region, which looks like Linda Royce here: http://www.nasagreatlakes.c...

I'll just throw this out so its completely off the table: don't consider the Summit Point Shenandoah Circuit. If you can even get local instructors, chances are half of them will be barfing their lungs out halfway through day 1. It is not a shotgun-seat friendly track. I love driving on it, but I ab...

Re: B16B pistons in a B18C5
You'll have to email the registrar for the event you want to do, and they will place you. Most organizations will want to do some kind of "check ride" to make sure you know what you're doing and will be safe. If you don't have a passenger seat (typical for race cars) they'll do a lead-foll...

I'm mostly wondering wtf "full roller street cams" are and why this guy thinks dropping 5lbs from the rear wiper (of all the things and ways to lose weight, THAT is what he comes up with???) will make any kind of difference.

From a theoretical standpoint, a group of people could meet at one location to load up the cars and then get a ride home. Same for return delivery.

Does anyone have info on transporting a car that way? Something other than the private-price haulers that would run ~$700-1000/car the last time I checked. I'd be interested in being there, but would not be interested in driving a non-AC stickered up track car 3000 miles into summer Cali/Western hea...

There are two public transportation systems: The Metra, which is a bigger train serving the suburbs and traveling into downtown, and the El, an elevated train system traveling within downtown. lol I just mean, if you want the best, you have to pay for it. I guess it all boils down to what your budget is. I almost wish I ran 15s because they are so cheap compared to the 16s You could have a set of 15" Hoosiers for close to $800, and they'd be way better than RE-11s. Shit, I spent $60...

I used to have the sweaty-palms issue, but have found lately that I don't anymore. Not sure if it was a nerves thing or what. That being said, they do come in handy when the temps are like 30* and it's raining ![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)
