Re: Looking for one itr gunmetal rim 98 ltm
Good luck finding one in good condition. I have been looking for months and haven't had any luck. I gave up and ordered a brand new one from Acura for $337

Re: NEED HELP ON TRUNK!!!
Mine does the exact same thing. I just haven't taken the time to really look into it. I would think that the actuator is the likely culprit.

Re: #1334 hurt
Man, I hit a fox going 50mph and all it did was crack the clear coat on my bumper(he got wedged in the front air dam). Lucky it didn't do more damage than that. I would fix it with oem parts, front bumper is about $240 for a brand new one, not sure about the lip, some paint, new bumper light and it ...

Re: radiator issue - any ideas?
I would stay away from a used integra radiator, My R has the original rad. with 69k and it seems fine, however my 98 gsr rad. failed with only 38k on the odo. years ago. I also used to have a 94 gsr and sold it with 85k and it still had the original rad. in it. I agree with you that they are prone t...

Re: opinions on this car...?
Overall the car looks nice, although I don't like the seats at all. Stock usdm wheels would be a plus also. He sais he has the title in hand, but is it clean??
Price would be ok if all stock parts were included in sale, but it sounds like he doesn't have any of those left.

Re: engine health??
Thanks for the input. Had the car dyno'd and it put down 163whp and 115lt lbs torque. Car has aem intake with stock exhaust manifold and exhaust. It does have skunk2 stage one cams but is untuned. Hp #'s seem on par with a stock car, Acura thinks it might be oil rings??? Seems to me if oil rings wou...

Re: New 1/4 miles for my GSR...
Sounds good for a gsr. My best time in my 94gsr was 15.1@94mph.
I had header, exhaust, intake, neuspeed injectors, fields vtec controller. That was 12 years ago, damn i'm getting old!

Re: New ITR owner, excited and frustrated.
Sounds like you got a good deal for $5k, even with the motor problems. Have it rebuilt and you got a clean title beauty with a brand new motor, and it will probably still be worth more than you put into it.

Cylinder #1, 5% 165psi
Cylinder #2, 5% 160psi
Cylinder #3, 8% 160psi
Cylinder #4, 8% 165psi
I was told these #'s are good and engine is very healthy.
How do these #'s compare to any of you out there?
Thanks

engine health??
Hey everybody, my 01 type r seems to be burning a little bit of oil. I am not sure exactly how much but I do know that when I put it up into vtec it does smoke a little out the back. I am not sure if it may be the valve seals or the piston rings worn. The car has 69k miles and it seems to run strong...

Re: My ITR won't start.. Suggestion needed.
First I would remove cap and rotor, if that looks ok it could be your distributor. I had a gsr that had a similar problem a few years back and ended up being the rotor coming apart inside the dist. cap.
Cap and Rotor are easy fix so I would definetly start there.
