Sounds good, I don't have any crazy plans for now but would like a little extra power for the time being. I think I will probably purchase a new cat considering the one I have sets off a CEL within a day now. Now where do I go to buy a JDM DC header? Is this header carb legal? I guess it doesn't mat...

Would it be possible to modify my aftermarket cat to fit the header, ie widening the flange? I wasn't sure if there was enough room to play with it. If so, can a normal muffler shop do the work? Also, what is the cheapest place to find a header, (I am leaning towards a JDM DC 4-1)?

Header choices

First of all, I did run a search but didn't come up with a reliable answer. I will be hitting the track for the first time in January and would like to slap a header on my 2k1 Type-R. I'm running the stock exhaust and either a Random tech or Carsound cat (I recently purchased the car and am not sure...

Re: New clutch/3rd gear grind

Yes I'm insane. I was told by a few people that this was the way to go, combined with a great deal on the clutch with the fact that it was my only choice to get my car back on the road since it is my daily driver. It is way too rough though and I will be extracting it back out soon. I think I will k...

New clutch/3rd gear grind

I was really happy two weeks ago to drive home in a 2000 PY Integra type R. But as luck would have it, I managed to break within a few days when the clutch went out on me. I ended up dropping in an ACT 6-puck disc and heavy duty pressure plate. I know this is a little harsh but it's kind of a long s...
