B-series transmission question
Replacing the bearings in my B16A/S4C transmission and the OEM replacement countershaft bearing on the transmission case is missing an oil hole. This is the needle-type bearing. The original bearing has an oil hole and the factory manual says to install the bearing with the oil hole facing up. This ...

Wheel nut question
I just installed ARP extended wheel studs on my hubs and wanted to know what wheel nuts I can use on the OEM rims. I have tapered nuts for the track rims but I need a rounded seat with an open end for the OEM on the street. I know 91 CRX and Prelude wheel nuts will fit but I was wondering if there a...

Re: s2000 cat
Yeah the Carsound cat from Hybridgarage is what I have on now on my JDM ITR header. They will make custom lengths for diffferent hybrids but they also have a lot of applications. Used to have nice-fitting T1R test pipe but took that off recently.

Re: s2000 cat
Yes exactly what I'm talking about. But I think they were looking for a bolt-on solution. I considered the S2000 cat myself until I saw it. BTW nice model. Tamiya? And your rear tires are mounted backwards.

Re: s2000 cat
I doubt the S2000 cat would fit properly. I know the donut gasket is the same and it would properly bolt up but the flange for the S2000 cat is angled. The whole cat is angled towards the centre of the car while the header is on the passeneger's side. Wish I had a pic...

Anybody in GTA want a FPR?
Like it says, I've got B&M FPR, blue anodized, already mounted on the stock regulator. Want to trade for the stock ITR regulator. Toronto area preferably so I can just do the swap on the spot. Any takers?

Re: Q: KYB AGX settings
Thanks, that's what i figured, but i was wondering what the stock ITR damping would compare to as far as the KYB AGX settings. Sweet rice badging! Actually it's a Canadian model, which were called SiR's instead of Si's. Identical except for badging and standard ABS. So technically it's an SiR, but i...

Re: Anyone here from Toronto???
I'm in the GTA, but I don't have a Type R. Instead I drive it's Clark Kent-ish alter ego, my beloved 99 Civic SiR. Hope I can be of some help even though I'm pretty much the outcast among you guys. Love that car!

Re: Has anybody clayed their car before?
Yes the clay bar works wonders for my car's paint, expect to spend most of the day doing the whole car. As far as pressure on the clay bar itself, there should hardly be any on it. Just keep it lubricated and wet and pretty much glide it over the paint; you can feel it picking up the particles. Do n...

Q: KYB AGX settings
First of all, great website for a great car, lots of different opinions and valuable info. Second, I don't have an ITR, I bought a 99 Civic SiR instead; what I could afford at the time but I'm applying as much of the ITR "philosophy" to it. No, it'll never be a Type R but life goes on. To ...
