oh, I didn't know there wasn't a p73 head. He told me that that's the head he got. It was a head off of a JDM 90-93 Integra (Xsi or whatever it's called) He said the original tranny that was used with this "new" head was a cable tranny. I realize a 99+ Si head shold work but we can't find ...

will a b16a (pr3) head work on a ITR?

I friend of mine damaged his 98 ITR head (p73) when the cam ground itself into the head. Being in Iowa and desperately needing head! , he found a b16a head locally and put it on his ITR. The car is has I/H/E and Skunk 2 ITR cams. The car starts up and idles fine but runs like crap when you rev it up...

stock ITR suspension alignment specs

I went to a local shop here to do get an alignment and the tech said he couldn't find the specs for the R on his computer. Does anyone know what they are? I'm looking for tolerances for camber, toe, caster, and whatever else you got for my stock suspension'd ITR. Last resort would be for me break ou...

BCNUV8,
Cedar Rapids, IA? I've never seen your car there ever. What color is it? do you ever drive it? BTW, I never take my car to Chicago either for the same reasons you don't.

Here's a couple ideas, -get an two-way alarm- for theft a DETERRENT and to make noises and starter kill -get a lojack- for better POSSIBILITY of recovery -wire up a simple relay circuit that cuts off power to the fuel pump or power to the distributor (using a either a hidden switch or a plain view O...

Maybe during installation you accidentally bumped the spark plug wires on the distributor, hence crappy, rich idling from a cylinder not getting a full spark. At first I was thinking maybe a sensor was unplugged but you said no CEL. Try resetting the ECU. The car should still run fine even if there ...

By how much does the Spoon head gasket raise your C:R ??

I found a place with a decent price on a Spoon head gasket. how much does it raise my compression ratio by? Is it anything significant? Is it worth buying and installing?

Yes, you can use 205/40/16 with the JDM ITR wheels. IIRC, they are 16x7" and a 205mm wide tire will fit good. Those tires will also fit on the WORK RSZ-R wheels assuming that they aren't wider than 7". If they are wider you might have to go to a 215mm wide tire.

Re: what makes ITR's track 10mm wider than a GS-R?

I did some more researching and found that the ITR wheels have 5mm more offset than the GSR wheels. 2 wheels x 5mm would give it the 10mm wider track then. Here's what I found in an ITR review at http://www.canadiandriver.com : While the Type R's four-wheel independent double-wishbone suspension is ...

A question for those of you with the JDM folding mirrors....

Being that our cars are LHD and the JDM ITR's are RHD, the JDM folding mirrors on our cars look funny when sitting in our driver's seat. You can't adjust the JDM mirrors out any further so now I have this huge blindspot when driving. Did any of you modify them so you can see better? If so, how ? Als...

Re: what makes ITR's track 10mm wider than a GS-R?

Thanks!
I used to have a 2000 EBP Si and was mildy happy with that motor, howcome you swapped to b18c5 versus building up the b16? I only know of one other guy who did that to his 99 Si but he also spent and extra 5 grand of N/A work on top of his b18c5.

what makes ITR's track 10mm wider than a GS-R?

I've read that ITR's are 10mm wider than a GS-R. What was done to make that happen? Is it 10mm wider in the rear, front, or both? I do remember that my ITR's rear lower control arm is different from my old teg. With the different lower arm is also has a different shock mount too. The only thing I ca...
