do most of you guys use sythetic oil in your transmission. I just started using Mobil 1 5W30 sythetic engine oil, and what a difference. My car feels much smoother now. Was wondering if the transmission would benefit from a full synthetic.

I just happened to be out with my buddy who has an 00 Si (in Canada its called an SiR, same car though, 1.6L 160hp DOHC VTEC) and we have the same bolt ons (intake, exhaust). His car has 110 000Kms and my 01 ITR has 80 000Kms, we both drive the hell out of them but also never miss any oil change or ...

Has anyone experienced a slight hesitation in 3rd gear after the VTEC swithover point. It still seems to pull pretty good, the power just doesn't feel as linear as 1st, 2nd and 4th. Any comments?

My ITR had an AEM CAI on it when I bought it so I'm not sure what kind of results you'll see with the K&N. I can tell you however, that on my Chev Silverado 5.7L, gas mileage almost doubled when I dropped in a K&N filter, throttle response was greatly increased and power felt slightly strong...

you got that straight! The car sits pretty nice with the stock suspension and 17s, but I've only had the car for a few weeks already bent one of the front wheels slightly from a bad pothole. Theres lots of winding roads but they are all so poorly kept. Oh well, what are you gonna do?
