I had an ACT clutch with extreme pressure plate in my other ITR before i got the one right now and believe it or not after about a years worth of good track driving and some hard street driving i had to replace the transmission. I guess the tranny couldn't handle the stress from the hard engagement....

Earlier in the ITR's life, dealers were fairly liberal with the warranties. It's different, now, and none of my friends really bother with the dealer anymore. I need to replace my clutch, and i want to upgrade that clutch to a little stronger one than stock, will this void the warrenty? If not what happenes if i upgrade the fly wheel also with the clutch, will that then void the warrenty??

Yeah mine does the same thing, i have to put a quart in every 1600 miles, i told my acura dealer and they told me to keep a log and give it to them after i have collected some data about the oil consumption and then they will check with acura tech to see if it is burning it will in normal parameters.

Hey wassup, I know exactly what your are saying on the clutch noise.. It makes like a screeching noise when your taking off on 1st to 2nd and sometimes on a different gear if you punch it.. The noise is when the clutch pedal is out and only in 1st and 2nd gear at 4000 RPMs and when you are at wide open throttle. When the throttle is 1/4 or 1/2 or 3/4 open you don't hear it.
