If you buy a GSR or Civic Si just build some sort of FI setup, get yourself a nice suspension setup and learn how to drive without being stupid on teh streets.

Don't bother swapping for that extra 25-35 hp. It wouldn't be worth the work and money you put into it.

Radar detectors are illegal in VA and Washington DC. Every other state they're legal...if you get stopped doing more than 73 in a 65 and a cop sees a radar detector, the ticket will be more moolah.

as for race fuel, nah, not unless you've minimized da variables in the car like excess weight, and plus its only a track day, if its a battle for top times then maybe

Buy the LS if it's cheaper than any R you can find. It'll be cheaper on purchase price and insurance rating.
