You could do that...but the car wouldn't be legal here in the US, couldn't be registered (legally), and therefore couldn't be used on public roads. Some people get VINs from wrecked DC2s and transplant them onto the JDM car, but that's very illegal. The cars just haven't been through the same emissi...

pics work...just drag and drop the red x's into your address bar

I like the look, but it seems like it would reduce the output of the headlights pretty significantly. Looks 1000000000x better than GTS covers, that's for sure LOL

Yeah, somewhere around 22-28 depending on how/where I'm driving. Still amazing considering what's done to the car. You can't beat Honda!

Well, shit

I guess I must have missed the deadline to get into a driver's spot. I didn't have the $$ at the time, and was waiting for a check to come (still hasn't come, but it should be here this week), but I guess all the spots are filled now...oh well I guess. I'm still planning on coming to hang out for th...

Man I still think my ITR is slow...I don't know what I'm basing it against either...it's the fastest car I've owned. Maybe it's because I'm surrounded by all these domestic guys here in MI that run 10s :(

It will cost you a crap-load. If you're dead set on the ITR then you might want to ask your parents if you can go under their policy. Then you get a multi-car discount, and it will be cheaper. If you are paying for full coverage yourself, being 16yo in a Type R...say goodbye to thousands of dollars ...

Post a picture of your car and someone can photoshop it. Just an FYI, if you stray from OEM paints (especially drastically) you will have a harder time selling the car in the end. There was a JDM ITR Silver color (Vogue Silver Metallic) http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid166/pfb862447b15015131...

- Make sure you have a written Bill Of Sale stating clearly every aspect of the transaction, including the VIN of the car you're buying, if there is a warranty, etc. - If the car is modified, ask for the stock parts. Also ask when the mods were done, and who did them. Ask for receipts for the work d...

If there's no water damage (from a flood or something), and the frame lines up perfectly then I would say it's probably OK...only thing I would worry about is having stress fractures in the metal somewhere that would weaken and get worse over time.

Completely depends on what the "salvage" was. If it was water or in a bad accident, then stay away.

Are these the shifter bushings?

If so...installation is very easy with basic hand tools and some muscle.

ask if they have any vouches (people who have bought from them in the past and had good experiences). Most heavy sellers over there will have entire vouch threads where those who bought things will post their experience with that seller. I wouldn't buy anything from a new member either...that's just...

Like I said, that's a general price...if you have some friends with a little knowlege, a place to do it, the tools, and some free time I'd suggest doing it yourself to save on the money. Hard part is finding the transmission, though. Check Honda-Tech first and then Ebay. Always inquire the ITR numbe...

Well, considering this is a Type-R website with Type-R owners...it costs us nothing to have a Type-R transmission.

For the rest of the world, it's probably $500+ cost of transmission, which better not be stolen or we'll hunt you down.

No...not scared (this was when I was driving my old GSR that had a Momo wheel). For airbags to be most effective and the least harmful you should be as far from th...
