I guess I slacked after the tuning was done and did not post any results. Jeff and I flew in Trey to tune both of our cars. It was a great weekend; we went to Heartland Park and watched some of the national runoffs, then headed over to the dyno to tune the R's. Both cars were tuned by Trey, and he t...

Anybody have a chip burner?

I am in need of a chip burner so that I can get the current tune off of my chip. I upgraded to the S300 since my S200 crapped out, but I do not know if my tuner is going to give me the .bin file or not... Or, would somebody volunteer to retreive the file off of the chip for me if I shipped you...

what brand gauge pods fit best?

What brand gauge pods have you guys been satisfied with using? Not A pillar, that is out of the question. I need a good recommendation for the dual gauge pod that replaces the stock bezel cover. Budman, I know you have one, what brand is it? p.s. Jeff, your new part is on the way now from GA

I already bought a Kenji P06 that is converted to P28 specs, and is S300 ready for $150 shipped. I just need it to get here now! The Hondata came in yesterday, but I am still waiting to hear on my order status with Kenji.

With that said about tuning and the lights, I'd be willing to put my money on the Hondata. Have you tried disconnecting the Hondata box and just running the ECU? How does the car act that way? (obviously you don't want to do this much, but figure you might as well try.) Process of elimination. :D W...

Is it still acting up? If so then it will throw another CEL and then pull hat code. There is no code. even when it acts up, no code is present. That is why I cant find the source (hondata or the ecu itself) Hondata was quick to blame it on the conversion harness / and even the distributor. (I poste...

My suggestion... Pull the CEL code and see what it triggered. My guestimate... Might not even be the ECU/Hondata. Vacuum line or something that simple came off or split. I did. There are no codes there to pull. All vacuum lines are good. Keep your eyes peeled for a good deal on an S300 and I suppos...

You can go S300 and remove the blue box completely. I was going to, but seeing how much it is, and the fact that one of the free programs work just as good, I decided against the S300. I am going to get the J&S safeguard knock sensor, and use that with the wideband o2 i just got. Then I ...

To be honest Jeff, I don't think that I am going to stick with Hondata. Since there is a chance that the blue box is in fact somewhat faulty, I have decided to get tuned with Chrome. Edit: Well, P1 will tune with Neptune or my S200, but I would have to have the emulator if I wanted to get tuned with...

If possible, I would like to get retuned before the expo.
or....
Jeff, are you still considering flying someone in this winter to tune?

of course it would, however, if it's going to be a tight fit or rub on the block or oil pan and cause something to crack.... No Thanks.

I called Comptech and stayed on the phone a good while as he was trying to find specs and product information for both headers. The best he could do was guess and tell me that it might be a tight fit and that I would have to use a different cat because one header is longer than the other. Due to his...

99 civic si comptech header fit ITR ?

im wanting to buy a friends comptech 4-2-1 header, but it is on his 99 civic si. I realize that the header will bolt up to the head, but is this header the correct length and is the o2 sensor bung hole in the correct spot? from looking online, there are different part numbers, but both show a 2"...
