I did see it when it was in the lot within city limits. It's since been towed to the burbs by Allstate. I looked inside and noticed that most everything was stripped. I didn't think they would dispute the mileage, or even think that the odometer would read what it read. Or that insurance would even ...

Holy cow. What a strange coincidence, where my ITR was stolen 2 blocks from my condo in Lincoln Square.

City of Chicago found it about 2 - 3 weeks later, stripped.

My first offer was for 12k too! Here's hoping I get 14k...

stolen car...odometer bumped up 40k miles

Hey guys, My ITR was stolen and I'm trying to get the most $ I can from insurance for it. When they recovered the shell (no engine, rims, interior, seats), there was still an odometer and it read 93,000, when my car really had only 55k. The adjuster was just asking in a friendly tone, why would the ...

uh oh rust on the hood

So my ITR had some rock chips on the hood when I bought it, no big deal. Now that I have looked at the car, I see rust where once it was just metal:( Am I going to need to repaint the entire hood? Anyone been through this already? Thanks

Last question before I paypal...

...what did you mean when you said you don't want any latch on your hatch? Does fixing this expose a security risk to my ITR? Does not fixing this cause my ITR hatch to be more secure?

Is this an OEM actuator? Where did you purchase it from? Thanks!

Lots of people have the actuator go bad. I replaced mine last year ($75) & now I'm selling it since I don't want any latch on my hatch ;) $50 shipped. BudMan Are you in the Chicagoland area? Could you help me install it? Or is it a really easy thing to do? I'm definitely interested in the part.

Popping the trunk

Does anyone have this problem in their ITR? In the manual it says it *may* be a problem and to go to the dealership. Symptom: to open the trunk, I have to turn the key clockwise 90 degrees and hold it, then lift up on the trunk. And it doesn't work all the time, I have to do it maybe 3 times tops. I...

Throaty is a good word for the sound. I have an AEM intake (came with the car) and I know that causes the whistling sound I hear. Which I like. Well I'll try to pay more attention to the locations of the sound, thanks! OF course the two components are right next to each other so...hm.

If money is no object, THE place to get car stuff...

...installed is abt electronics. They do trick installs, they have a whole bay full of cars in the summertime getting various stuff installed, they have a showroom of a car they did do...stuff is expensive there though! Did you pick up the car yet? I was #2 in line, but as of last night I am off the...

Well okay I really just test drove one...

...for a good 20 minutes, city and highway. While it was fun, it reminded me of a previous car I owned (FD3S with an N1 aftermarket exhaust), and perhaps I jumped the couch and said it would be loud on long trips. Which is a true statement from the FD days. I was just hoping to purchase a silencer, ...

ITR exhaust too loud; silencer?

Does anyone know if someone makes a silencer for the ITR? For short drives it's fine, but extended periods just get annoying! (Yes I'm an old fart.)
