AEM doesnt make a V2 intake for the R. If you want crazy sound go with the J's racing short ram. I had the original AEM and hated the crappy throttle response, the J's will give you good sound with MUCH better throttle input. All these intakes really give only 1-3hp at best over stock anyway, with t...

I can recall hearing that if you take out the stock resonator or lid off the top of the intake box, you will lose hp. Best bet would be to use the stock intake and create your own cold air tube out of something like dryer hose, or just buy a comptech icebox if you dont want the NASCAR sound of the A...

Getting an R into that kinda range requires significant modifications. If you are really hardcore about doing this, id first strip the interior and try to do as much weight savings as possible. Normal street tires arent going to cut it on the strip, so you would need drag radials or slicks at best. ...

Mine has been my daily for about 2 years, i dont have a garage to store it in either, so it sees all the elements unfortunately. Its not the most comfy daily driver out there, but i have fun everytime i get behind the wheel. It's a drivers car, plain and simple.

If you do a lot of highway driving, I would suggest the LM-22's. Ive been using those for 2 years now, and they handle the worst of snow (i live in a lake-effect snow belt near cleveland) and actually provide good dry-wet traction. They come with a higher speed rating than the other more aggressive ...

I have the Mugen twinloop exhaust. No titanium muffer btw. Overall its a great exhaust, sounds fantastic and perfect fit. Its quiet around town but sounds very unique in the upper rpms, especially when its warmed up. The only downsides are the piping is only about 2" from where the cat meets th...

Mugen parts are some of the best quality out there, and their fit and finish is top notch. Their header/exhaust fits like stock and the exhaust is probably the one of the best sounding IMO. You can find better performing parts out there, but as RJ said, its for you to decide. As far as your choices,...

I bought that on tape about 3 or so years ago, and it immediately got me hooked on the best motoring series. Ive accumulated about 25 or so tapes/dvds/vcds since then and they are all well worth the money, only downside is most of them are in japanese with chinese subtitles :o

Well id first check and make sure there are no leaks, but if you are using a testpipe that isnt resonated, its definitely going to make a loud, raspy sound that you are describing.

What do you mean conversion down to 2.25? Both Mugen 4-1 and 4-2-1 headers come with a 2.5" collector, so you will need an aftermarket cat. The 4-2-1 header makes more power in the midrange, as its designed to be more of a gymkhana or autocross header, but the power dies off at higher rpm's fro...

Does the JDM sized (i believe its 12" in length) Carsound have an o2 bung in it? Also, would this cat have any chance of passing an emissions test?

If you want a plug and play ECU, look up "Kenji" on honda-tech. I used his p72 ecu and OBD1 conversion harness for about 9 months, and was very pleased with the performance. Also, if you want a quiet exhaust, the Mugen twinloop I have is very quiet around town, but sounds great in the midr...

Look in the FAQ section here under maintenance, it gives a quick overview of basic maintenance intervals. If you want to get more detailed, look for a helms or an Integra service manual.

I recall seeing that concept a few years ago at the Detriot autoshow. Supposedly they are going to bring the next one to the US, but ive heard it wont be into production until 2007. Knowing the capabilties of the old GTR, im sure this next creation will be a beast.
