Re: Motor Mounts - Engine Mounts - how do I dignose problems
Rob, Thanks for the quick response - I'll try the simple test first and try and rock the motor, the loaded test if I discover nothing. I'm pretty time poor at the moment - I might get the shop to install new mounts if they (any of them) are broken. I have to admit I have never looked too hard are th...

Motor Mounts - Engine Mounts - how do I dignose problems
Guys,
As the title suggests - how do you diagnose worn/damaged engine mounts ?
Are the any simple tests that I can do ?
Do ITR's have a history of wearing them ? (a search suggests not)
Thaks for your help !

CT110 - Not sure if you guys have these
I've had my CT110 for about 4 months longer that the ITR. The scary thing is that I can get to work 5 monitute faster on the 6hp beast (i'm guessing - it could be less!).

Thanks for the ideas
I'll have a look at the Honda Tech site and see what I come up with. Mbe a little lithium grease on bolt threads will help. I really should have a good look at it. Over here PY is called Racing Yellow - or if it was a Civic Sunlight Yellow. Its funnny how the marketing departments change the colour ...

My 2000 Type R with 50,000 km on the clock has developed a creak in the last 5000 km. It seem to be coming from the rear trim arond the hatch. I am not really kean to start t...
