You won't have to modify anything except maybe the gauge cluster as mentioned above. Mechanically, the U.S. and Canadian ITR's are identical; it's just a matter of dealing with the paperwork, duties and taxes. Good luck getting warranty coverage, though... all that is up to the specific dealership'...

Congrats on your purchase. I to have recently imported an 01 CW R from Canada. The only thing I noticed different is mine has a leather shift knob instead of titanium. If you paid any Canadian tax, you are eligible for a refund from the Canadian government. All you need to submit is an orginal/stamp...
