Re: Auto Insurance for your Type R

WOW! Insurance is cheap in the states!!! Mine is way higher than that and I get discounts all over the place. Guys here age 23 pay like $4,000 CDN/ year for their cars. OUCH! :x My last car I paid more per year for insurance than I paid for the car itself. Does that make sense??? :? So anyon...

Re: my uk itr

Umm I wish I had some of those features standard in my ITR, like the wooded wheel cover, lighter rims, red stiched stearing wheel and it goes on.... But I have to say I like my fogs better. Those look strange, but then again I am not used to them. Sweet ride Jody. It is nice to see chicks driving sw...

Re: Type R vs. Type S

Honestly it depends what is important to you in a car. The Type S is a far nicer and more luxerious car, the R, not so much. The S is smoother and is quicker off the line. The R is slower off the line but once that VTEC kicks in it screams. The S is quick but it hits the rev limiter sooner and the s...

Ahh That R is beautiful! You have done great things to it! NICE JOB!

But aren't you a little worried about posting your VIN on the internet after so many of these beautiful babies have gone missing?

Re: Type R love from VW owners

While VW have amazing suspension & handling, I personaly prefer the Hondas. The reliablity is a huge reason; you can go out and beat your Honda but a VW will never take that abuse. Then again the only Hondas I would vouch for are those made in Japan! You have to decide what your bottom objective...

Re: My Dream Type-R

Boys from the sounds of things maybe you should not be giving advice on chicks! Stick with cars!
Little 14 year old boy think of this, how are you going to look tough with a punked out car that you can't even race? Pick one.. racing or rice.

Busted in Toronto

Hey there has been a lot of heat on the streets lately regarding modifications to cars. I have heard about guys getting pulled over and the cops demanding that their mufflers and intakes be removed and truned back to stock. Does anyone know about any of this? Is this legal? Can the cops really do th...

OK How it works is.. depending on wheather it is a private sale or not and the province you will have to pay either one or two taxes on the car. Then you will have to get the gages and a bunch of other stuff changes to US styles (cost you a few hundred CND). Then when you go back over the boarder yo...

I am so sorry for you. I would freak. There are some really good aftermarket alarm systems that disble the motor even if they mess with the stearing column (if the alarm is on the car will self diagnose the point of entry and alert you later and the car will not start, even with a key). *In the UK t...

Ok seriously, the sterio system sucks! A new deck is a must. Speakers: the fronts are 5 1/4" and the rears are 6.5" there is a depth of 2" on both. Lots of speaker brands can be dropped in. They also have this light door lining that keeps the sound crisp. I would personally recommend ...

Umm, it was suggested to me that I use Motul oil only. It is pure synth. Although it is $70CND / 4 liters (1 gallon). It lasts for at least 20,000km.
Then again I drive like a jackass, always!
