california legal exhaust tip?
Anyone have a recommendation for an exhaust tip that is legal in california? I just got a ticket and need to replace what was on the car. Looking for a recommendation for a legal system that minimizes hit on performance. Thanks!

timing belt loose after adjustment....is this normal?
Hello,
Followed shop manual to properly tension the timing belt. I've observed that whenever one of the pistons is at TDC, the belt between the cam gears is loose, play is about 3/8". Is this normal or did I do something wrong. It is a brand new OEM timing belt.
Thanks!
Harrison.

Hi,
Discovered I had a cracked valve spring retainer. Using mugen valve springs. Anyone else experience this before? Are there after-market retainers that are better to use with these springs?

good all season tires
I've been using dunlop SP 5000 asymmetrics.
Still need to use chains in heavy snow.
onlinetires.com has a great price on them right now....
I think the 195/50/15's are getting closed out by dunlop.

camber kits, recommendation? ball joint or control arm...?
Dave-ROR,
Actually, the camber is probably off more than -2. My front tires show excessive wear on the inner part.
So I gotta fix it. Car is for street use but thinking of autocrossing.

Anyone have a recommendation on what kind of camber kit to get that would maximize handling performance and/or have a long life?
Does it make a difference? Why?
My camber is out -1.8 and -2.
Thanks!

camber kits, recommendation? ball joint or control arm?
Anyone have a camber kit recommendation for a 2001 type r?
My camber may be -2.0 or -1.8...
Ball joint or control arm or other method?
What gives superior performance or longevity or are any of these about equivalent?
Thanks!
