Spun bearing?
Are you asking if it is a spun bearing in the block? That would only happen after an over-rev. And i'm not even sure if it would happen to a b18c5 because of its design. I would think that the head would go before anything in the block.

I've seen this problem before. Get the catylitic conver checked out. There is a slight rich spot on the stock fuel curve that can cause a problem.
