OKAY.................. I"M RELOADED!

It's been a long year and a half with my car down. The July before last 2 weeks into having a turbocarger installed my car suffered catastrophic failure on the highway at 3am. After getting a tow home and realizing I probably melted my pistons I went to work (lot's of overtime and hard work over the...

It is cutting the fuel out at 7,000 RPMs. The car is running about 14:1 throughout the entire run on the dyno, but when I read the plugs they are white. This is leading me to believe that the fuel is being cut, just like the stock limiter. However I have checked the timing (mechanical & electric...

rpm cut at 7,000 any suggestions?

A friend of mine has a 1998 integra GSR (80k miles) and has the following mods: skunk 2 stage 1 cams, dc headers, intake and greddy E-manage. We are encountering some problems with the rpm cutoff. the rpm cutoff is normally 8200, however this one has been cutting at 7,000. What could be making this ...

intake manifold question

I'm thinking about purchsing the Top Fuel surge tank to replace my intake manifold and was wondering if I purchase it, would I have to reprogram my E-mange system to compensate for the extra airflow? I don't know how much more airflow I will recieve so in that regard, how much extra airflow can I re...

ACT extreme pressure plate clutch

I posted in the general discussion site about the experience and feel, engagment of the ACT extreme pressure plate clutch. and a couple of people have been saying that it'll ruin your tranny. Is this true? any advice since I'll be running a turbo ITR hoping to produce 400hp?

ACT Extreme pressure plate clutch

has anybody used the ACT Extreme pressure plate clutch? I purchased mine for use in my ITR turbo. I plan on running some big numbers and before I puchased it I checked it out and it said it wasn't recommended for the street because of harsh engagment, but when I talked to the tech guy, he said that ...

all midwest R's

who's up for a sub meet before the Expo? kind of like a get together before we go to the expo? We put up some dough rent a track for the day in a centralized midwest location for everbody in the midwest. Get enough people to do that and we can have a low cost for everbody. I think that would be cool...

I have a Mugen ECU and the difference is quite noticeable. I believe you are right about the Mugen setup, but Mugen took that knowledge from the cars with that specific setup and generalized it for say the ITR. (for which it is applicable). Now as far as flexibility is concerned then the Mugen ECU o...

I hear a lot of stories of people who just get a B18C5 engine and think they can rev to 10K. this is far from the truth on a stock motor. With the right tunning you can rev pretty high, but because the valvetrain and tunning is done well. aside from the other mechanical mishaps keep in mind that 840...
