Re: You think your R is slow Typeruz?
I owned a 97 prelude when i bought my R. I had them both and ran them. The prelude got a small jump on the R, but once the R hits third, the R really pulls hard on it and it's over.

Re: Changing Spark Plugs
nothing wrong with needing advice, but you should have a manual for your car. it will save you money. sparkplugs or injectors? it's very easy to replace either of them on your engine. do not pay a mechanic when it will only take less then 15 minutes to replace either the injectors or the plugs. don'...

Re: which jrsc can fit the type r?
the b16 kit will not bolt on, but the type r and the si(b16a) kit are the same. it's okay to get a used kit. most used sc's usually won't have more then 20k miles on them. they have 100k warranties. you can actually pull good deals on used kits with extra stuff. you have to get the map controller un...

Re: EXHAUSTS....
I have a Thermal, and it actually doesn't sound that bad. I don't think I've heard any four banger and said "wow, nice sounding exhaust". The greddy evolution is probably the nicest sounding exhaust i've heard so far.

Re: Integra Type R - A good everyday driver?
If you mean daily driver as in comfortable. In town and short distances, it's not bad, but it's not great either. On long trips, it's horrible. But it is a type R, not a Caddi. I do remember my 97 prelude being so much more comfortable. The Type R is a very reliable, tough little car.

Re: JRSC High Boost kit?
11psi?! You are really pushing it with that much boost on a R, start with 8psi. The jackson kit starts at 5psi. Even with good tuning, a hondadata, and big injectors, that's a very big gamble. If you arent worried about peak HP numbers, the the SC will impress. The water injection isn't a bad idea. ...

boost upgrade
Instead of the crank upgrade, have you looked into the alternator pulley upgrade for the JRSC. Jim at Motorvations Motorsports makes a stepper pulley(He is also very helpful when it comes to jackson chargers). You can go on hostboard.com and find out. I just bought one and installed it Friday. On th...

New to this board
Hi, I would just like to say Hi to my fellow Type R owners. I'm pretty sure I'm the only Type R where I live, so I don't get alot of info on them. I own a Black 2000 Type R with a jackson supercharger. I pretty mcuh bought every mod I could bolt on to my car that wouldn't deal with the internals. Ri...
