how do i clean my engine?

which parts of the engine do i have to cover? im planning to do with degreasers and water. nothing special like steam cleaners. just plain water, degreaser, and maybe some soap :D

also, whats a good degreaser thats not expensive but effective?

everytime i brake i almost feel as if the car is hydroplaning. the steering wheel vibrates and i feel as if my tires not pasted to the asphalt but instead up in the air. i believe its something wrong with the way the pads grip. or the rotor is warped. can anyone answer my question? o yeah, also when...

injector cleaner sounds good. i was thinking about buying the octane boosters, but when i thought about the money id be spending on it, its too much. just keeping my car clean and healthy is all i need in my opinion :D

well since i live in LA, the highest octane level is 91 octane from "chevron with techron". although there are higher levels of octane (93), surveys in magazine showed these companies were not as clean.
