New Interest in my ITR

Post by Humpie56 »

Well i was all ready to give up and sell my 01 ITR and then i met this girl. She started working with me and she tells me she is a Car Chick but not just any a Honda Nut. i was floored. I'll keep it short but, she has built her own drag car which she has won some events in and has a had lots of other hondas too. So she helped me out the other day by rewiring/Soldering my ECU cause the VAFC install was a Hack job one of the previous owners did. It was literally twisted wires and some electric tape was used. Good bye VAFC. So i currently let her drive it since i can't my self (NO LICENSE). At least till she gets a new DD to replace the patchwork civic she has currently. But till then she keeps wanting to work on it for free. The hotness of a chick working on my ITR. i'll have to get a pic sometime. Speaking of I'm trying to get a Video finished of this 30 min mountain drive I've been recording on a Go Pro camera. Mounting it in lots of different angles to get some good shots. I'll post a link when i get it done but don't expect it anytime soon. Thats a low priority.

Well just wanted to pass on my 2 cents on how i fell in love with my car again... or was it the girl HaHa oh well.

Sounds like my story.

So i was out DT Harrisburg PA at the bars and met this chick. After the bars closed we decided to go to a local diner for breakfast and i offered to drive. We walked up to my itR and she was like "wwooww a type-r", looking at her  i was like "you know wat a type-r is?". I thought i had too many drinks, noway a chick know wtf a type-r is. Cut it short, Turns out she owned a few GSR's and she owns a 91 CRX with a B20 Vtec that she converted herself! I must say im in love haha.

But yeah man good job finding her, hard to meet a chick that knows about caRs, let alone even has an interest in them.

My girlfriend knew all about ITR's when we had met, I was floored. And had come to find out she had knew the previous owner I bought it from 800 miles away in Miami, they were childhood family friends. I thought it was rather neat, and she's pumped that there will be another one in the driveway.

And by driveway do you mean garage?

Glad you guys have women that won't make you sell off your hobby (I hope). I'm sure glad my wife has a good understanding of the blood and sweat that goes into my hobby and how much it means to me!

Until pictures are posted, then you are lying...

That is awesome that she is so cool with cars and is able to show you a thing or two about working on them!
