JRSC fuel pressure regulator??
JRSC fuel pressure regulator??
I'm putting in a JRSC into my R along with a hondata, injectors, and fuel pump. I'm wanting to install the SC off site from the tuner's to save some $ but I'm wondering if it would be safe and even possible to drive the car to the tuner's without JR's fuel pressure regulator??? I don't want to have to install it just to drive it like 20 minutes then waste money and time taking it out again since I'm using the hondata. Sorry if it's a dumb question. I just recently decided to go FI/"The dark side" so I'm kinda new to SC.

Re: JRSC fuel pressure regulator??
personally i would install it and keep it on, its easier to adjust the fuel that way than through hondata, but thats just my personal opinion. And especially since your SC your itR, having the right amount of Air/Fuel is key.

But since I'm taking it to the tuner, making it easier to change the A/F wouldn't be an issue. I just want to know if it would be safe and even possible to drive about 20 minutes to the tuner's without the FPR. I'm probably not going to, I just want to know cause that could save me a lot of money over towing the car there or having to install it there.

Re: JRSC fuel pressure regulator??
yeah you should be alright, u'll just be running rich or lean fuel mixtures. which wont really hurt it especially if your only goin a few miles, u'll have shitty fuel mileage though.
