The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.

Anything goes? Well, if you keep it clean and aren't obnoxious.

Updated post with more pics,

And the fogs were removed for brake ducts :)

Still don't have them installed yet, just waiting to buy the brackets for the rotors. More important prep work came first, Radiator, water pump, timing belt, tarrrrs, ect.

Oh yeah. ~3200lbs with me is what I estimate.

I typically replace them mid season or at least turn them if they are ruined by the heat cycles.

Lucky they are just $30 a rotor.

I beleive it.

I could barely hang with Mike Alsip last year around Putnam, and his is reletively stock.

How is your ITR prepped, besides a cage?

It's a fully dedicated track car. Puts down 218 WHP (Dynojet) on stock bore.

Mugen intake
SMSP header
SMSP race exhaust
12/14k coilovers
Gutted with cage (weld in fully chromoly)
AC/PS removed
Stage 2 P&P head with nice lumpy Skunk 2 Pro 1 cams
JDM P30 pistons
and on
and on
and on

I was originally building to Honda Challenge specs and got carried away, then next though was Time Attack. Now, it just sits. :(

Yeah, she's just a wee bit mod'd. lulz.

I bought the car after it was wrecked on the way to E5. Wasn't bad at all IMO, replace bumper, rad support and headlights and I was good to go. I knew when I purchased it, it was destined to be a dedicated track car.

This is the way I will go one day...

Try to find a gently abused or mangled spec miata, gts, or other track duty car and fixer up myself.

That was my thought, though looking back I should have purchased one already done on the cheap. I enjoy wrenching myself, but in the long run it's cheaper to buy one already built.

It was my first track and still a "home track" that a lot of us Kentucky guys head to frequently.

It is a really great palce to push the boundaries a litttle, as there is plently of run-off. Albiet, you don'y have to venture off track to find your cars limits, but if you do happen to go rallying, you won't kill your car or worse.

haha, "When asphalt gets boring.." :P Yeah, safe tracks to really learn are great. One reason I really liked Gingerman.

My first track was VIR...but Watkins Glen is my "home".
