Alright so my 98 was tore apart at my friends house while he was getting the bushings pressed in for me, he made the mistake of moving my wheels from their designated spots and stacking them in no particular order and now it has a massive vibration at highway speeds. They were balanced a month ago and aligned yesterday, should I just try to move the fronts to the rear?

If the vibration is in the steering wheel, it's a front wheel. Assuming they're on correctly, swap one wheel at a time from front to back. If it goes away, you know which wheels needs to be re-balanced.

That's crazy. Some weights must have popped off or something. Shouldn't be THAT off.

Yep, I lost a strip of wheel weights on a front wheel at Gingerman somewhere near T9 back in 2004. I didn't know what happened initially, but the car went from ok to disaster, ha.

Well. Got out of work early to drop the oil pan off to welder to tack in the baffles. Pickup tomorrow. Front sussy almost all apart. Trade those arms for the rears I already sent to my guy with a press to replace the bushings. Would be nice to get the R on the road by May 1. :?

I should of thought as that was always a tactic we did when I was a tire monkey when I was a teen, put the shittiest ones in the back. I just swapped the passenger side front to back and that nearly eliminated it. Upon my discovery I noticed they didn't bother to pop the sticky weights off and threw more weights on there when I got my tires mounted last month... awesome shit.

In a totally unrelated event, I was originally suppose to throw on OEM wheel bearings, hubs, lower ball joints when we did my bushings last weekend and delray fucked my order up and didn't get them shipped out so I said fine and cancelled the order... low and behold a box arrives at my doorstep today and $468 less in my account, rad.

So I let the guy who bought my cobra borrow my tag to drive back to PA under the agreement that he would overnight it on Monday. Well, it's Tuesday, no tag and no response from him. I was hoping he at least would've sent it out today. I hate people with no integrity.

Found you guys, thanks for letting me know Tran!

Image
Tran is the man, bought Pro1's on EBAY, they shipped me the wrong ones then could not get the Pro1's. Tran pulls through and gets me the Pro1 in 2 days. Now I will have them for my trip to Evans Tuning this weekend for install and tune!

For updates on my brake bleeding saga. Turns out after going through 5 bottles of Motul, the remanufactured caliper I got from Acura is faulty. Air was still coming out with the bleeder screw fully closed. Switched bleeder screws and still the same issue. Getting a replacement caliper tomorrow. Hopefully this one is better. I wonder if I will get a gold one or silver?
