Find a mellow mushroom and ask for a black and blue. Essentially the same thing. But not a shot, a whole pint.Civic_Sista wrote:Do you ever do Black Magics? I'm pretty stuck still between #9 and Guinness as my two favorites. At least as far as normal everyday, readily available beers.
Last night at work I had 3 beer shots and a pint of cider at the end of the night. One of the shots we had was called a chocolate blueberry (Seadog Bluepaw topped with youngs double chocolate stout) very tasty!

Is that the one with the kid on the label? If so, I agree. Delicious. You read the label and think "all that in one beer? It's gonna suck. SLURP. Ok that doesn't suck in any way possible."Dave_B wrote:Totally forgot to mention Founders. Their breakfast stout is TOP NOTCH stuff.
I've had beer at VIR, Summit Point, CMP, Roebling, Road Atlanta, BeaveRun, Gingerman, MAM, Lowe's Motor Speedway...

I'm a big wine fan, just rarely in the mood.
I just remembered I had beer and my world got much better.

Re: All about... BEER!!!
Cool. I was into wines for quite awhile....just got away from it when I had to pinch some pennies....then haven't been drinking much anyways.
Have a small little collection going in the basement.....still need to stain and assemble the wine rack I bought 2 years ago...Team Lazy FTW!!
<--regrets not grabbing a couple bottles of the 2000 Latour when I could get it for ~$400 a bottle. Bastards are going for ~$800 a bottle on the auctions. 100 pt First growth Bordeaux.

Re: All about... BEER!!!
Um yeah...I'l pass. $15-20 bottles do me just fine.
I'm excited about the new place. I plan to start buying 1-2 bottles a month to have and drink in the future.

Re: All about... BEER!!!
haha, werd. Most of my purchases are in the $10-$25 range. Most I've spent was $45 on a Damilano Barolo
My favorite staple wines are Thorn Clarke Shotfire Ridge Shiraz for around $10-12 for a 90+ pt wine. Also Columbia Crest Grand Estates in the same range. Excellent excellent values.
