Aftermarket headlight bulbs....

Post by typeruz »

Can anyone recommend an aftermarket bulb that looks nice on the integra. i'm looking to get more light and a nice clean white light.....no bluish tinge, not fake-looking HID.
just bright and white.
oh, i want it to last a good while, not blow out in 3 months like many do.

any recommendations?

thanks

yeah if you wanna spend about 60 dollars every few months. I would say sylvania bulbs last a good while and put out a good amount of light.

Sylvainia Silver Star Bulbs they look kinda Purple when not lit but they cast a very clean White Light. They cost about 25 bux a piece. I have been running them for about a month now and no problems so far. However they are VERY VERY sensitive to touch and Scratches. try not to let the glass com in contact with any moisture or with the edge of the light housing during install

Just put 9005 bulbs in your headlights if you want more light.

Any 9005 bulb will do.

BTW aftermarket HIDs look TERRIBLE in the Integra's OEM headlights, the cutoff is far too sloppy.

Then the cutoff is angled in the wrong direction, toward oncoming cars.

You can't win with an Integra.

Besides, for those that do it for "bling"*, you must realize Hondas are far too cheap to have any "bling" factor.

*bling - meaning a show of opulence
