I'm pleasantly surprised to find you can still get rear quarters from Acura for only $428 not bad. Very strong possibility that I might hold on to the rustbucket and make it pretty. I have a few favors owed to me to x out a bunch of labor hours of body work that I might cash in on.

Really? I wonder what we could get with a discount price on that. My big question is labor...but I want to keep mine all OEM. :P

You get a discount on that?

My friend that is amazing at bodywork said it's just another daily task, just drilling out some spot welds.

I'd love to get 309's driver side looking as good as the passenger side......but not while I'm still tracking/learning. My luck first event after a repair/repaint and I'll be into a tirewall. :P Right now, I'd rather keep 309 as-is and pick up a minty '97 as my old man driver's caR. 8)

project caR won't see any body work outside of rust treatment for the foreseeable future. The daily is just asking for TLC though. I have to get another DD first. :P

Indeed.

It is something I need to grow out of. It somewhat has to do with owning 10 cars in the past 4-5 years. Always have resale in the back of my mind. However, not the case with this R. I really plan on keeping it for a while. Steezy may be on to something with being under 100k. I do think I need to just hit that threshold and forget about it.

I hate to be a whiny biotch, however the extra revs with the 4.9 final drive make it a bit of a pita on the hwy.

That thing was driven from WV to Nebraska and back and tracked there for Expo 5 with the 4.9 and I've driven it a bunch on the highway. Quit yer whining! :P

I wouldn't worry about resale value, could you imagine your car selling for any less than you bought it for? I dare say most of the clean ITR's have hit the low value threshold. That's one of the reasons I wanted back in an R again, many will sustain value... especially the ones that were bought at rock bottom like yours and mine. It's not as if you're losing 5k+ a year like most cars.

I personally run a Bell M3 which is a very popular model for its price and fitment. I think the M4 is the latest revision of that model. I'm a big fan of companies that support Expo, offer great customer support, and are ITR owners themselves.
My commanding officer (steezy) rolls with it, I tried it on, I like the way it feels and especially the price. Only downfall is that it doesn't come in Yellow
That's a downfall? For me, it'd be a huge downfall if it came in yellow :)
