This is strictly JUST megs #21 sealer. No polishing done whatsoever. I'm pleased with the results as I just spent only two hours on it. (wayyy to hot to do any polishing, and no garage to do it in).
Thanks for pointing that out. For a second, I almost forgot.itrsteez wrote:looks good dude, well besides the fact that it's yellow.

IDK if your checkbook is big enough to grant that wish.coolhandluke wrote:That's a really big difference. Nice work. Come do my carS.

If that's the case, he might as well just go to autobell and ask for their stooper shine option.itrsteez wrote:oh please. ryan, when alan is doing your alarm I'll let you use my stuff.CivicBeater wrote:IDK if your checkbook is big enough to grant that wish.coolhandluke wrote:That's a really big difference. Ryan is a smart guy and is fully capable of polishing a car with a machine (in which i'll provide him with if when he's out here), the artful skill of taking swirl marks out of paint was not reserved for the top 99% percentile of inteligent humans. I don't know why some car detailers believe otherwise.CivicBeater wrote:If that's the case, he might as well just go to autobell and ask for their stooper shine option.itrsteez wrote:oh please. ryan, when alan is doing your alarm I'll let you use my stuff.CivicBeater wrote:IDK if your checkbook is big enough to grant that wish.coolhandluke wrote:That's a really big difference. I figured everyone just writes me off as an ITR newb with a lot of questions and ignores me regardless of what I have to say.itrsteez wrote:I got the checkbook joke, but you have to remember that some might not get your humor as they don't know you personally like I do and write you off as a cocky SOB. I've seen it a lot from detail guys that think they are a gods gift to paint and keep their products/techniques as a secret because once anybody in case somebody else finds out how rediculously easy it is.
Granted of course I exclude the extreme pros out of the equation that actually measure swirls and use the rotary buffers but seriously with a 7424 you would have had to fall asleep with buffer in hand to burn your clearcoat and it'll still take car of the vast majority of the imperfections in the clearcoat.
Large amount of polish and Sharpee markeritrsteez wrote:I just have to figure out how to polish out rust. Need more polish probably.
We could duct tape over rust, actually I'm really leaning towards hanging on to it and making her pretty. On a side note Jack gave me a proposition I couldn't refuse last night so ol' rusty is still on the back burner.coolhandluke wrote:Does duct tape play a role there at all?
Steve, we need to get a weekend on the books.
