I got bagged last October in Bow NH doing 66 in a 30. MUST appear in court. I showed up but the cop didn't, it was dismissed. I was Very LUCKY. I did pay a $235 ticket in July the same year for 88 in a 65.

I got a ticket in october, went to court plead not guilty, and trial was in January. That was for the big one. I would have had to pay a huge fine and lost my license. Good thing the cop was a NO SHOW

I am going to get a Valentine1 radar detector soon....

My Belltronics bounces laser off to other cars. The option doesn't help if you fly by the cop holdin the laser though.

to date:

85 in a 55
60 in a 30
71 in a 45 (rain)
90 in a 45
91 in a 65
and I have 0 points.
perfect example of why to pray @ night...

I was in the pocono's when I got a ticket. 97 in a 55... plead not guilty and sent in the $50 deposit. They cashed the deposit check, but havent been to court yet. This was over a year and a half ago. Hmmm...

Don't feel bad. I "raced" a new Cougar about 2 years ago. The two kids in the Cougar obviously never raced a Type R before and from the outcome.......they won't for a while to come either. They got a jump on me and then I got into it hard and after the VTEC kicked in.......it was all over. Needless to say, a spectater to our little "grudge match" was a local cop. I won the race (bigtime) but I lost because I was the one that got the ticket. She said that I was doing 77 in a 40 and I questioned her on that. She asked if I wanted her to make the ticket for more & I naturally said no, and I told her that I just expected more out of my car than 77. She said that she clocked me at 88 but didn't get me locked until 77. Damn, that was the best ticket I ever had the privilage to pay. All I can say is......Ahhhhhhh, VTEC. My Type R served that Cougar a case of "Death by Acura!"

Nice cop missed a huge ticket

Post by 1329itr00 »

I was doing 106 in a 65 zone and started running from the cop...I didn't want to risk getting thrown in jail or anything so i stopped. Cop pulled me over real calm and everything. Told me what i did...went back to his car and i thought i was definetly getting a ticket...came back to me and started talking to me about cars and was telling me how he use to have old 5.0 mustangs and walked away with a no front plate ticket
I miss my R already
