We have about 40 employees. Our IT guy is contracted as well. He does get slung around a lot, however I know gets paid very well. It seems like everytime there is an issue, he's in the server room trying to google his way out of it. lulz.itrsteez wrote:how big is your workcenter? I don't think there is anyway I could handle being the only IT guy for an organization having to deal with end users and stuffCivicBeater wrote:Holy hell! That's nuts.
p.s. On topic, our IT guy sucks donkey balls. Network is always going down (on average once a week), sometimes slight delays accessing folders on the networks etc.

I don't care how smart anybody thinks they are, you need teh google. There are far too many technologies, concepts and products for one person to know it all.CivicBeater wrote:We have about 40 employees. Our IT guy is contracted as well. On a side note make it out to alan's sometime in the afternoon, he said bring some meat and we'll grill. Ryan and I will be running out to wilmington in the AM, so that'll end up being a 5 hour ordeal.

Beer? Mmmm... could go for a few right now.
Erik, anything new you've tried and want to suggest? I'm trying to back down from Stouts and Porters right now and get back into Lagers, Ales and even Pilsners.

Not sure if I ever posted this picture here, however this is indeed a random mountain man walking around in a kilt. Makes me giggle everytime I flip through my photo album:

Going to check out this house tonight:

Friggin steal for 250 and on a golf course (not that I'm a golfer, just nice to know your neighborhood will always be kept up well.)
