What was your motivating factor for selling the FBP? Does getting a non running R + some cash solve your problems?

Seems to me that less $$ spent on French, tight designer jeans could help with money issues..... but its none of my business. :P

Yeah I don't like to pry into peoples bad decisions but this sounds like a horrible idea, that is unless you were going to take the rolling shell to sell off to somebody; then you could probably come out on top.

I'm cheap on everything until it comes to my caR. Road trips, track events, and parts are the only things I really spend money on. Eating out has been a trend since moving to SC but I'm changing that as of this week.

Steve- Its possible he could come out ahead, but prices are so low right now I don't see it being worth the risk. He would have to have a place to store the vehicle (safely) throughout the selling process too.

yeah, granted it's all circumstantial but that's the only way I could see it possibly working. It shouldn't sit long at 9500, your pictures do suck though, I would work on getting some decent ones. they go a long way.

Two car loans is hurting me for getting approved on the lease for the new place. It puts my debt to income ratio up high because of my pay cut. Removing that loan cuts out the debt to income ratio. If it wasn't for that, I'd keep the ITR at the price I had it listed and sit on it until someone bought it. I may not come out too much ahead with the shell, but I could keep it and be happy with just having a fun car to auto-x and track occasionally and not have a lot of money invested in it.

You think $7000 + a complete shell is fair for my car? Its got a salvaged title because of theft I believe, but I can't remember for certain.

Overnight from Japan :!: :P Yeah, I hear ya on being cautious...I have a hard time spending that kind of money on something from someone I don't know or even heard of. Spoon >>> PIC.

5 lug, complete interior, just needs a swap. It won't pay off the loan but it'll bring it close enough to just have a small personal loan to pay off the remainder quickly.

It drops my d:i ratio though, which is what I need. It also cuts my insurance payment each month by $55, and my loan payment per month would be a lot less than the car loan, so on paper it would look a lot better.
