Re: The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.
I don't count my DD's....but I owned my first vehicle (a truck) for almost three years, my GS-R for almost five years, the project car was under just under a year the first time, and now I'm almost at the two year mark on round two. I can't wait to say I'v had it running for the majority of ownership.Dave_B wrote:LOL, I have average just .85 of a year, on all cars since I was 15. Obviously some I have owned for longer, but that is the average. Shortest I remember was 2 weeks on an EG.

A year and a half was the longest I've gone and that was with 309. I'm approaching 1.5 on 0288 but I won't make it. Would have to get to September.

That is a large amount wasted on registration fees IMO.

Re: The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.
VA gives you money back. I'll get money back on my personal property tax, and registration, but I only get the money back on registration if I turn my plates back in. I usually end up keeping them and transferring them over, which saves me some money on the next car.
Taxes on the vehicles is where I'm spending more than most since I'm paying sales tax every year or so on a car.

Hrm, I wish I got money back. LOL
Re: The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.
PP tax is where you get the most back. Not really much from the registration/plates. They give back however much of the year you didn't own the car after paying the tax.

And it looks like the ITR will be no longer mine. Guy who looked at it Tuesday just made an offer I am not refusing.
