So who is planning to get there Thursday night/early Friday? I think Nolan, Nate and I will be rolling in late Thursday since we are picking Nolan up at noon. Obviously the locals will be in town.

Yep, I'm not sure when I will get to the track and hotel, but it will be sometime on Friday. I'm off work Thursday, so I'll be free that day to finish up any small things.elambz wrote:So who is planning to get there Thursday night/early Friday? Yeah, when I made the long haul to previous Expos (MAM and BeaveRun come to mind), I'd stay an extra night and relax. I always felt better making the drive back with some energy.

Well its about 1000 miles between home and the track. With holiday traffic thrown in, I'm thinking driving a few hours and crashing some place Sunday night might be the way to go.

Yeah, that might not be a bad idea...Toledo or Cleveland are good stops.

Last year we left Sunday night, drove to Ohio and stopped over night. We then drove the rest of the way on Wednesday, but I dunno what Nolan flight plans are leaving, so I dunno when we need to get him to an airport or if he's coming back to VA with us.

Ugh. Went and talked to the buyer of my R today and so far only half of the check he was given has cleared. The guy who bought his car is in NY for 3 weeks with the military so we don't know whats going on yet. Frustrating.

Well, hopefully before Expo the check clears. I don't plan on driving it to Expo as I'm delivering the wheels to someone at Expo and it'd be kinda hard to get back with the car on blocks.
I will be driving it around with some goodies though. Pictures to come tomorrow.
