98-0797 status. :unburn: to the ground...
So.. 797 has over 280K on the chassis, has impacted multiple stationary objects, moving objects, lived in snow, salt, fucking orlando, and in general... was just abused for the majority of it's life. Lots of autox back in the day, handful of roadcourses, and a handful of blown up engines, clutches, and input shaft bearings (replaced 2x already, will do it again before assembly).
So.... the nail in the coffin was getting T-boned on the driver door/fender 2 winters ago... and i finally decided to take the insurance money from that, and insurance money from my truck getting rear ended to fix the bitch. (also bought the salvage cibic {reconstructed it} and fix'd the truck already). I ended up also adding ~$500 out of pocket thus far. Plans are to do a simple rebuild, re-use everything that's usable, and simplify things as much as possible.
Before and after as follows:
And the future daily in teh background:
:burn: it to the ground.

There is sufficient evidence to indicate that the rate of increase in output per unit increase of input decreases as the input increases

OMG that's hott.
That's awesome! Rock on D!
I love how you did everything the right way (aka expensive, but right). That's the only way I will do it...and I can't wait to paint both my cars.
