Kinch is the bridesmaid again...
Is the MINI S the car to have in D Stock? I wouldn't say so, since there were relatively few entries in the class at Nationals, and a bunch of the heavy hitters have moved on to other classes over the years (no more Fauth, McCormick, Borowski, etc). Still good talent, but not enough entries to say the winning MINI was the car to have.
