we attempted to sand cast some uprights for an sae car at one point in time.... very not easy to get void free results in a backyard setting. Fun as hell though, lots of fire!

He will sell those spoons outright, but prefers a set of Recaro's.

But as Marc said, shipping is going to be a MOFO!!!

In PM he is holding out for a little bit to see if a trade is possible with someone who may not be advertising their Recaros for sale but might be tempted by the Spooooms :) I understand. He's been cool though and sounds like I may have first chance if he decides to let them go outright.

Yeah, shipping....ugh...fuggin islands.. :P

I figure this may be the first and last sussy to buy for 309...so in teh long run, fugg it. Great sussy, owner, low mileage, good rates..

$1500 is a steal, not sure if he knows that he can easily buy a nice set of recaros for that much (well unless they are 9.9/10 of course)

Can you have those struts sent off and rebuilt if need be?

Sounds like he's been looking but hasn't found a clean enough set.

Pretty sure you can have them rebuilt....not sure if they have to be sent back to Japan or just a US Dist. I haven't really looked into that..

FYI - I've shipped a lot of things to HI. It's really not crazy more expensive than shipping anything else to the west coast from here.

Yeah, I'm holding my breath. Definitely an ideal set of SPooms....except the shipping from HI thing, haha.

I got your PM, will check into PY tonight.
