Wheel Spacers

Post by JDM FACTOR »

Anyone know where I can get wheel spacers around 2mm? I really hate to put a wheel spacer on my car, don't like the idea of it but in my situation, I really have no other choice.

A while back I specifically asked to have my te37's ordered with an offset to clear my spoon calipers. Of course, they ordered the 43mm offset which fits but you can barely fit a business card between the caliper and rim. Ordering a new rim is not an option. Shaving the face off the caliper is also not an option.

The car drives fine around town but I'm getting the car ready for a track day and I'm not going to chance any rubbing issues when deflection from the caliper comes into play. Brakes and rims are going to get way hotter on a track than normal street driving and I can't chance a problem with rubbing but more so safety.

Does anyone know where I can get very thin 40 thousandth's to 80 thousandth's or 2mm spacers to fix the problem?

Any info would be appreciated.

John, PM me... I had some made locally in Orlando. I'm sure they could make you whatever you want. It was out of aluminum.
