The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.

Anything goes? Well, if you keep it clean and aren't obnoxious.

Yep the circlip was on it and it was in good shape. The only thing I did notice is that the "new" axle was about 1/4" shorter. 8 didn't really worry about it because of the amount of movement they have.

I got her stitched up and avoided a $3.50 per mile tow fee....headed to autozone tomorrow to beat somebody with an axle.

edit: made it home safely. gonna tear heR down monday and go to autozone for a new axle.
I need to get this issue worked out before I head to cmp in a month!

FYI Go ahead and order a replacement C-Clip and go pay for AAA. It's well worth the $90 a year and you get up to three towings/etc per twelve month cycle. I believe you get up to 100 miles of ree towing per incident.

I'll be on the phone with AAA Monday upgrading the account. My fiance has the account and just got the basic coverage because she's always had a new car.
With the basic coverage they give you 3 miles for free and $3.50 per each mile afterward. Also I was a good 45 miles from home on my way home from work.

I assume the clip is the problem, because with the old axle I never had any trouble. I also read about some other factors that can contribute to the axle popping out, and I'll have to completely check the car over. From what I've noticed so far I don't believe she was very well taken care of by the previous owners.

Yup, and we'll see them in a few weeks.

Gators lost to a shit ass call!!! I'd like to see the rule book that defines a forward pass, does it have to be inches, or a full yard? In the review (even at the shitty angle) you could clearly see it was forward and that was the game.

^^A forward pass only has to be any amount of distance beyond the line of scrimmage.

What you guys think of this price?

I agree, if you are going to purchase the unit I would aim for a price that includes ALL of the components. That is missing the snorkel, jasma tape (joking here), and the splash shield.

You can order the replacement snorkel part, I had looked it up previously but forgot where... But there are enough complete units in the $500 range that I'd steer in that direction.

Agreed.

Well the battery is drained in the project car. It's been on the charger since noon but it is still charging away.

Ohh I think I just found a local off craigslist that will trade me his f/4 70-200 IS for my f/4 24-105 IS. That would be a supreme columbus day victory.
