That blows.

<-- was at the eye doc on Monday. Didnt spend the extra $40 on an optiscan and instead went with a standard pupil dilation. F'ing sucks and I had to wear these when I left 8)

Good news is my left eye sight has improved slightly since Jan. 09' :D

Euro fest info:
http://www.roadraceautox.com/showthread.php?t=31677

Every year, South Carolina Region and Central Carolinas Region SCCA have a booth at the EURO Auto Festival, at the BMW plant in Greer, SC. We'll also be helping run several arrive/drive activities at the Performance Center (for example, you can come autocross a new M3, 3 runs for $30, all proceeds to American Red Cross).

The event is this Saturday, October 16, and here's where we need some Sandbox help. The main event of the festival is a 500+ entry concours limited to European makes (with a featured marque - this year's is VW), and in contrast to all of the pristine examples that will show up on the front lawn of the BMW plant, we always try to put a "real" (read: battle scars and lots of stickers... and badge removal. Definitely badge removal) race car on display for the SCCA booth.

I know it's really late notice, but we had a car lined up that fell through at the last minute, and we've been unable to locate a replacement. If someone wants to spend a day showing off their race car for SCCA at a really cool car show...

I don't suppose it absolutely has to be a VW, or even European (we've had John Finger's Mazda-powered hillclimb special in there before, though I don't think the show organizers were thrilled), but if someone does have a VW race car or something else European, that would be awesome. Solo, Club Racing... doesn't matter, but we are looking for something that fits the "dedicated race car" look.

There's no cost to put the car in the show - this is "our" entry as SCCA - but we can't offer much in return except for maybe a few bucks worth of gas cards and a free entry to a Performance Center drive on Saturday.

Shoot me a PM or e-mail nick@scsportscar.com if you're interested.

Thanks!

Bring it this weekend and the trade will finally get around to happening!

FYI- I have no towels. So for those who want to shower, add that item to the list of carry-ons.

shit, I didn't previously give it to you? I can't remember. Either way I looked where I stashed them all and didn't see anything. I wouldn't doubt if I managed to lose it if that's the case.
